IAN Every struck 57 as Perry Street recorded only their second win of the season in Division 1 of the Top Togs evening league last Wednesday.
Every helped Perry Street to 91-9 before N Maddocks took 3-5 as Thorncombe were dismissed for 60.
Thorcombe top bowlers were N Gover (3-8) and L Morgan (2-7).
Ilton made 83-7 against Crewkerne who took 11.1 overs to reach 88-1. For Ilton D Bullock made 29 and Dave Dibb 27 while for Crewkerne G Preston took 3-7.
League leaders Royal Oak amassed 193-1 against White Horse with Paul Oliver scoring an unbeaten 92 and M Usher 75 not out.
White Horse replied with 140-7 with Jonnny Warry scoring 43.
Scott Wells-Burr racked up more good runs for 3Cs, making 90 in a total of 152-9 against Ilminster for whom Gerry Hayward took 3-14 and Garry Warren 3-11.
In reply Ilminster were 96 all out.
South Petherton made 110-7 against Martock who took 17.4 overs to reach 114-6.
Star turn for South Petherton was Tom Hawkins with 28 and 3-20 while Martock’s main run-scorers were Duncan Macabe (27) and R Pickford (25).
In Division 2 Hardington and West Coker beat Curry Rivel by seven wickets, P Brooks scoring 47 and K Pearce an unbeaten 40.
Curry Rivel had posted 122-5, D Higginson making 61 Stockland & Yarcombe made 145-4 before restricting Hatch Beauchamp to 88-7. Main scorers for Stockland were J Durran (54) and J Mitcham (48).
