YEOVIL Town Community Sports Trust will be running open trials to boost their Under-13 and Under-14 squads in readiness for their first season in the Junior Premier League.

Successful triallists will be given the opportunity to train on a regular basis while also competing in the Junior Premier League and representing the Trust and Yeovil Town FC.

The trust not only works with the players on both the technical and tactical side of the game, but also help them with important life skills such as respect for their fellow players and coaches while also encouraging them to become more confident in dealing with new experiences.

Trial venues: Wells Blue School, Wells – Monday, July 7 (U13s/U14s, 5pm-6.30pm); Heathfield school, Taunton – Tuesday, July 8 (U13s/U14s, 6pm-7.30pm); Alvington Training Complex, Yeovil – Thursday, July 10 (U13s, 6pm-7.30pm, U14s, 7.30pm-9pm).

Playing in the Junior Premier League does not affect players playing with their club side which was an important aspect of entry into the Junior Premier League for the trust. All fixtures are played on a Saturday morning with a 10.30am kick off.

Places must be booked in advance. Email the trust’s development officer, Bob Thomas, at bthomas@ytfc.net or call 01935-706671.
