VIRTUALLY the entire local cricket programme was wiped out by rain yesterday.
All the matches in the West of England Premier league and the West Somerset league were cancelled with play only possible in two matches in the Shrubbery Hotel Somerset league.
Ilminster A’s match against Peasedown St John in Division 6 was the only one to be completed.
And they probably wished the rain had washed their’s out too as Peasedown rattled up 338-4 before dismissing Ilminster for just 52.
