SOMERSET play their first game of the season in the T20 Blast when they entertain Surrey at the County Ground this afternoon (2.30pm).

The Cidermen made a winning start to the competition on Friday, beating Gloucestershire by 18 runs at Bristol.

Craig Kieswetter (55) and Alviro Petersen (51) starred with the bat in a total of 156-8.

Then Dirk Nannes (4-21), Max Waller (3-22) and Lewis Gregory 2-28 got among the wickets.

Surrey began their campaign with a two wicket defeat by Sussex.
