ANGLING: Rich pickings in Dillington Pond summer league
ILMINSTER AA members fished the first round of the Summer League at Dillington Pond.
Strong winds made it hard work for some but there were some great weights recorded.
Jamie Rich was in peg 24 and was relatively sheltered as he fished the pole and caster. He had a cracking day’s fishing, catching two chub plus quality roach and rudd for an excellent 22lb 8oz.
Moses Holbrook was second with 9lb 9oz of roach and rudd on the whip and caster from peg 19 while third place went to Graham Field with similar net of 7lb 10oz from peg 6.
