THE second match of the Perry Street Pond League was fished in much better conditions although the fishing still was tough for some.
The top end fished produced all the leading weights. Jamie Parkhouse continued his good run with 51lb 6oz of carp from peg 8, fishing the pole with 6mm pellets.
Steve Osborne was second with 43lb 2oz of carp from peg 12 and Andy Donovan was third with 37lb 4oz from peg 9. Andy Winters had the best silvers weight with 3lb 10oz from peg 5 The next match is on Sunday, May 18 with the draw at the pond between 9am and 9.30am.
Result: 1 Jamie Parkhouse (Burt Baits) 51lb 6oz, 2 Steve Osborne (Chard AC) 43lb 2oz, 3 Andy Donovan (Frome) 37lb 4oz, 4 Mark Hollister (Chard AC) 24lb 12oz, 5 Butch Baker (Chard AC) 24lb 8oz. Silvers 1 Andy Winters (Chard AC) 3lb 10oz.
