CHARD manager Adam Fricker is keeping his fingers crossed that a corner of Zembard Lane will dry out enough to allow Chard to entertain Cribbs tomorrow (3pm).

The Robins were forced to call off their Toolstation league game at home to Calne Town last weekend and the Cribbs fixture is also in doubt.

Fricker said: “Overall the pitch isn’t too bad but the bottom corner has been waterlogged."

If the game doesn’t go ahead the Robins will have another chance next Wednesday when they entertain Westbury (7.30pm).

Chard reserves are away to Tiverton reserves in the Premier Division of the Fresha Devon & Exeter League tomorrow (3pm).

Last weekend they drew 1-1 at Clyst Valley in the league.

The club’s Under-18s are away to Wells City next Tuesday (February 4) in the Southern Division of the Somerset Floodlight League. Kick off is 7.30pm.
