Yeovil Town 1, Burnley 2
Yeovil Town remain five points from safety after losing 2-1 at home to promotion-chasing Burnley.
Clarets strikers Danny Ings and Sam Vokes bagged a goal each either side of half time before substitute Kieffer Moore pulled one back for the Glovers late on.
The hosts had a few chances to draw level but the Lancashire outfit held on to take all three points.
The result leaves Yeovil - searching for their first win since December 3 - 23rd in the league with 17 points.
Basement club Barnsley did not play today as their game at Charlton was postponed, while Doncaster, one place above the Glovers, lost 1-0 at Burnley's rivals Blackburn.
That's it, Yeovil lose 2-1. Valiant effort but quality up front the difference.
Five minutes added on.
New signing Ashley Barnes is on for Ings as Burnley look to run the clock down.
All Yeovil now, home fans sense an equaliser.
GOAL! 1-2 and Yeovil back in this. Excellent play from Moore down the left, who whips one in with his right and the ball bobbles all the way through and nestles in the far corner.
Ralls arrives on the end of a good cross from Edwards but his header is tipped over.
Down the other end, Vokes' header goes narrowly wide. That would have been game over.
Hayter is replaced by Adam Morgan.
Ralls wastes a good chance on his weaker foot from the edge of the box. His effort curls high and wide. 67 gone.
Ed Upson is on for Lundstram.
Yellow card for Ralls.
GOAL! Vokes makes it 2-0 to Burnley with an easy tap in after Dean Marney squared it across the face of goal.
Before that Kevin Dawson was replaced by Kieffer Moore.
Yeovil's turn to hit the woodwork! Grant's header clips the top of the bar after a good cross from Luke Ayling.
Sam Vokes almost makes it 2-0. He's found on the corner of the six yard box but his effort clips the outside of the post and goes behind.
A superb piece of defending by Michael Duff denies Yeovil a certain equaliser.
Some head tennis from John Lundstram and James Hayter found Joel Grant 12 yards out, but his shot was blocked brilliantly by Duff.
Stech makes a good save to deny Keith Treacy from a free kick. He curled it around the wall with his left but Stech got down low to his right to push it wide.
Frantic start to the half with chances at both ends. Glovers will be looking to up their attacking threat if they are to get back into the game.
Second half is underway.
Half time here. Yeovil finish the stronger but trail 1-0.
Stech flaps at a free kick whipped in from wide right, the ball runs free but is cleared.
The dangerous Ings goes close again. His right-footed curler from 25 yards floats just over. 32 mins gone.
Yeovil struggling to get passing game together since going behind, but a corner falls to Joe Edwards on the edge of the box whose shot it blocked.
GOAL! Burnley lead 1-0. What a strike from Ings, on the turn first time from all of 30 yards; Stech no chance.
Another effort from the visitors but David Jones' long range effort is deflected into Stech's hands.
At the other end Danny Ings' overhead effort loops onto the top of Marek Stech's net.
Bright start from Yeovil and James Hayter has a chance to pull the trigger just inside the box, but he completely misses the ball under pressure from the Burnley defence.
Underway here at Huish Park. Yeovil shooting towards the visitors' terrace.
Ralls, who has re-signed until the end of the season, is in the starting 11.
Johnson said he will be a "big part" of the club's campaign.
Last week, Johnson said he was hoping to re-sign Ishmael Miller and Joe Ralls on loan.
Yeovil boss Gary Johnson says he is working to secure some new signings in the transfer window.
In today's programme notes, he said: "Along with my management team we are working very hard to keep an eye on the transfer and loan market during this January window."
He added: "When we do sign a player we hope it is a player with the quality and mentality to keep us in the Sky Bet Championship."
Sun is beaming down on Huish Park with just over 30 minutes to kick off, and dare I say it there's slight optimism in the air.

WELCOME to Huish Park where we will have live coverage of Yeovil Town's Championship clash with Burnley.
Goals have been the problem for the Glovers and I get the feeling they'll need at least a couple if they're to pick up all three points against high-flying Burnley.
I'll be bringing you live coverage throughout the match. Kick off is at 3pm.
