SOMERSET’s award-winning Cricket Museum will be re-opened for business on the first day of the home County Championship match against Warwickshire on Thursday.

The museum will continue to open on all First Class game home match days from the start of play until after the tea interval.

New for this season, to coincide with the four-day game against Australia later in the summer, will be a special display about the many and talented players from Down Under who have played for Somerset over the years.

There are many very distinguished names and visitors may be surprised to know how many First Class games Somerset have played against the Australian touring teams over the years and how many the County has won.
