KATHLEEN Helen Mitchell of King Athelstan Drive, Chard, died at Chard and District Hospital on February 10. She was aged 81.
The funeral, conducted by the Rev Cresswell Whitton, took place at Taunton Deane Crematorium on February 16, and featured the hymns The Lord's My Shepherd, and The Day Thou Gavest Lord Has Ended.
There were family flowers only.

Rideout (granddaughter); Jeff Farley (rep Julie Farley); Anna Crouch (rep Brian Crouch); Liz Paull; Mrs J. Rideout; Mrs R. Baker; Mr and Mrs F. Mitchell (brother-in-law and sister-in-law); Mr and Mrs N. Froom (brother-in-law and sister-in-law); Mrs P. Mitchell (sister-in-law); Mr D. Mitchell (nephew); Mr N. Mitchell and Pauline (nephew and partner); Mrs D. Raymond (niece); Mrs T. Charles (niece); Mrs J. Chiverton (niece); Mr and Mrs P. Thraves (niece and nephew); Mrs J. Stone (niece); Mr A. Stone (nephew); Mr and Mrs N. Hutchings (cousin).
Unable to attend were Mr and Mrs B. Mudd (sister and brother-in-law); Mr and Mrs A. Marcar (sister and brother-in-law); Mr G. Stone (nephew); Mr O. Stone (nephew).
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Bishops Funeral Services, Cillerhayes, Old Town, Chard, TA20 2AS.
Sue, Richard and Louise would like to thank everybody who attended the funeral, for the cards and messages of sympathy and donations for the League of Friends of Chard Hospital. Thank you also to the nurses and doctors of Musgrove Park and Chard Hospitals, and Tawstock Medical Centre. Also to Deirdre at Bishops Funeral Services, the Rev Cresswell Whitton, and Lordleaze Hotel for the buffet.
