COMBE St Nicholas Primary School is holding an auction of promises, including tea at the House of Commons, and collections of stamps and coins, today (Thursday).
The auction features over 50 promises, from a few hours’ ironing to a tour and tea at the House of Commons, to raise money for the new May Centre at the school, which has become a popular site for hot meals.
The coin and stamp collections have been donated by Steve Tingle, former landlord at the Haymaker Inn in Wadeford.
Included among the items up for auction are sets of first day covers, British stamps and interesting coins from around the world.
Viewing of lots starts at 7pm with bidding beginning at 7.30pm.
Everybody is welcome.
