THE David Hall in South Petherton will be full of action on Saturday (November 17) with an Egyption Study Day and a performance from the Ric Sanders group.
The study day, looking at living in an ancient Egyptian town, will help boost funds for the Support the David Hall Campaign and follows last year's study of women's lives in Egypt.
Participants will explore two town sites - Kahun and Gurob - and the people who lived in them.
In the morning the group will focus on archaeology and in the afternoon, will explore what it would have been like to live in these towns.
The event will be held from 10am-4pm with registration at 9.45. Tickets £25 and includes refreshments and a light lunch.
Evening visitors will be able to watch the Ric Saunders Group, who will be performing from 8pm.
This will be the first David Hall appearance by Fairport Convention's violin maestro Ric Sanders and features guitarist Vo Fletcher and ex-Albion Band percussionist Mike Gregory.
Tickets are £14 full or £13 for concessions.
