South Somerset man, Craig Willis, to stand trial for dangerous driving after crash
A HASELBURY Plucknett man has been ordered to stand trial before Somerset Magistrates over an allegation of careless driving in Milborne Port.
Craig Willis was allegedly driving at speed when his car was in collision with another vehicle as it pulled out at a junction in the High Street.
The 25-year-old defendant, of Stonesfield, pleaded not guilty to driving a vehicle without due care and attention at Milborne Port on August 4 last year when he appeared before Somerset Magistrates at Yeovil.
A review of the case was conducted and the matter was adjourned until September 12 when Willis was ordered to return to the court for a trial to take place.
In the meantime he was released on unconditional bail.
