EMERGENCY services rushed to a crash in Martock this morning after a car collided with a lamp post.
A fire engine and an ambulance were called to the scene on Coat Road at around 9.30am.
When the fire service arrived, two people involved in the crash were free from the vehicle but needed medical attention from paramedics.
The fire crew awaited a team from Western Power Distributions to isolate the electrics, and prior to their arrival made the scene safe by cordoning off the area.
WPD then arrived to isolate the live electrics, and then crews made the vehicle safe.
