THE COMBE St Nicholas community came together for the horticultural show with flowers, art and homegrown food on display show.
The 43rd annual show was held at Combe St Nicholas Parish Church on August 6. Judging started at 10am before the entries opened to the public at 2pm.
There were 110 categories ranging from children’s entries to vegetables to jams and chutney, in addition to the traditional flower displays.
Ros Roderigo won the overall best in show prize for flower arranging. She said: “I was in the flower arranging section and I won the cup. I was in six classes, and got two firsts, two seconds and a third and came first overall.
“It was a lovely day. The overall entries were up and it was a fantastic day. It was so good to see the whole community come together.”
