A ROAD near Chard has been blocked after a car was overturned in a two vehicle crash.
The crash took place on Winsmore Hill in Stocklinch, near the junction with Whitefield Lane.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "There has been a two vehicle collision which we were called shortly after 4pm.
"No one has been injured but the ambulance were called as a precaution.
"One of the cars was on its side and the road was blocked. We are advising drivers to keep away from the scene until the road is clear."
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called to the scene in Winsmore Hill at 4.53pm.
"A couple of people were shaken but we were stood down before the ambulance reached them.
"One patient made their way to hospital on their own with only minor injuries."
