THE Ranger and Volunteer Team at Yeovil Country Park are once again holding their popular spooky Hallowe’en Trail in Ninesprings on Saturday, October 31.

Pick up a leaflet from the Friends of Yeovil Country Park opposite Ninesprings Café anytime between 10am and 3pm and follow the pumpkins through the wood to find the missing letters to craft a witch’s spell.

Do you dare to follow the trail all the way around the woods to find the Witch? Tell her the missing word and win a small prize.

There is a shortcut and buggy friendly route, which is signposted. Don’t worry you won’t miss out and you will still find all of the letters. The trail takes approximately one hour to complete.

The Hallowe’en Trail costs £1 per child and under-threes are free, while it takes around one hour to complete and so the last recommended start time is 2pm. All proceeds from the event go back into organising future fun events at the Country Park.

South Somerset District Council’s leisure spokesman, Cllr Sylvia Seal, said: “Once again our rangers have been busy organising this excellent and well attended event.

“Last year we had 600 children take part and we’re hoping for even more this year. You can also enjoy a nice warm drink at the Ninesprings Café once your children have completed the trail.”

The Ninesprings Café will be open between 8am and 5pm for parents and children to get out of the cold and enjoy a hot drink before or after completing the trail.
