LADIES who attended a flower arranging workshop at Combe St Nicholas village hall each produced stunning hand-tied floral designs that wowed their families and friends.
The workshop was held to show anyone who is interested in flowers that even with no experience they can produce a beautiful, innovative arrangement in a relaxing, fun atmosphere.
Among the students were three generations of one family - Flo Peterson, her daughter Gillian Slade and grand-daughter Kirsty Slade.
Flo, from Combe St Nicholas, said: "I never believed I'd be able to do something like this, I love what I've made. It was such a lovely, friendly morning.
“My neighbour was very impressed with my arrangement. My daughter and grand-daughter were really pleased with theirs too, we'll be coming again."
Tutor Jackie Nicholls, from Ashville Design, said: “There is nothing better than getting together with people who love flowers and are keen to learn, it’s so therapeutic and we always have a laugh along the way. This workshop was full of enthusiasm, excitement and fun.
“It’s so rewarding when my passion for flowers is shared, particularly by those who have never done anything like this before. I’m so proud of everyone who came along and what they achieved and am really looking forward to the next workshop in September.”
