FUNDS for the Breast Cancer Campaign and Macmillan Cancer Support will be raised on Sunday (July 19) with the first-ever running of the Ribbon 10k.
Registration will take place from 8.30am at the Square and Compass Inn at Ashill in readiness for a 10.30am start and the route will take in the villages of Ashill, Broadway and Horton.

Entries can be taken on the day and it will cost £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners.
There will also be a 2k fun run and it will cost £3 per person to enter on the day.
The minimum age for 10k runners is 15, while children under the age of seven wanting to take part in the fun run should be accompanied by an adult.
The event is being organised by the Chard-based Ribbon Cancer Support, Awareness and Fundraising group.
