FATHER Christmas made a grand and unusual entrance to Hinton St George’s Christmas Fayre, arriving by helicopter.
The event raised £1,000 for the first school and St George’s pre-school. As part of the Fayre, a Christmas Raffle was held which helped to raise £300 alone.
They money will help provide and continue extracurricular activities for the children, as well as buying educational resources for the school and pre-school.
Some of the proceeds have been used to book the Story Box Theatre to visit the school and pre-school.
