German drama at the David Hall
PETHERTON Picture Show presents gritty German film The White Ribbon at the David Hall, South Petherton, tonight.
The black and white drama darkly depicts society and family in a northern German village just before World War I.
It won the prestigious Palme d'Or at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, as well as Best Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globes in January.
