CHRISTMAS carols rang out in Over Stratton at the weekend as villagers gathered for an evening of songs and festive cheer.
The event was organised by Chris and Gill Leaver, of the Royal Oak Inn, and Ilminster Lions Club members on Sunday.
Singers enjoyed music from the Stoke-sub- Hamdon Brass Band and were served mince pies and mulled wine in the interval.
