Brownies celebrate blooming good year

THD 1st South Petherton Brownie Pack has been having a blooming good year to mark the 2010 Centenary of Guiding.

The group, which has already enjoyed lots of exciting activities to celebrate the milestone, recently got involved with their latest venture, South Petherton in Bloom.

Youngsters will be looking after the flowerbeds in the public car park, as well as planting flowers, watering them and keeping them looking nice and tidy.

Lufton Nursery, which agreed to help the group when contacted by workers from South Somerset District Council, has donated the flowers and bulbs needed for the project.
