THEATREGOERS will be tapping their toes along to a version of the hit show Footloose when it explodes onto the stage at the Octagon Theatre, Yeovil, from tonight.
Based on the classic 80s movie, Footloose tells the story of a Chicago teenager bringing modern dance moves to a backward American town.
Yeovil Youth Theatre presents one of the first UK youth productions of the musical, which scooped rave reviews on Broadway and the West End.
The high-octane show features a vibrant cast and music from the film's chart-topping soundtrack, including Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear It For The Boy and the title song, Footloose.
Audiences can catch the performance at 7.30pm nightly until Saturday, with a matinee performance at 2.30pm on the final day.
