A CLEAR but cold day is in store for Somerset before the clouds roll in at the weekend.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "Another cold and frosty start, with ice possible in places. Through the rest of the day it will stay mainly dry and sunny, with some patchy cloud, but the best of the clear skies across Devon and Cornwall."
The maximum temperature is set to reach 8C, before falling to a minimum of 5C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Staying mainly cloudy and rather chilly. A few outbreaks of rain possible, especially during the evening and overnight."
The temperature is again set to peak at around 8C.
The forecast for SUnday into the start of next week said: "Staying mainly cloudy with a few bright spells possible. Outbreaks of light rain or drizzle likely at times. Milder than of late. Fog patches possible during the mornings."
