BUSINESS owners in Bath Place have filled the street with Star Wars characters to celebrate 40 years of the movie franchise.
More than 20 colourful knitted creations were 'yarn bombed' across Bath Place including a lifesize C-3PO and R2D2, Yoda, Chewbacca, Stormtroopers and Wookies.
Yarn bombing is done every year in and around Taunton by a variety of different craft groups around the town.
The yarn bombs mark 40 years since the first film, Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope was released in cinemas.
The display was popular with residents who stopped their shopping to look at the colourful craft creations.
One resident said: "I love the C3PO and R2D2 that are stood on the street. It's a really great display to look at and adds some colour to Bath Place."
Another shopper said: "The Chewbacca one is my favourite, they are all amazing."
