A CLOUDY day with some patches of rain across Somerset is set to give way to dry weather with short spells of sunshine later in the Easter weekend.
In their south west summary for today, Met Office said: "It will be mostly dry with some bright or sunny spells, although cloud will increase from the northwest later bringing patchy rain to northernmost parts.
"It should feel pleasant in the sunshine, although there will be a cooling breeze."
The maximum temperature is set to reach around 15C, before falling to a minimum of 7C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Cloud and patchy rain should clear away to the south on Saturday morning, leaving a largely dry afternoon with some bright spells."
The temperature is set to peak around 13C.
For the rest of the weekend going into next week, Met Office predicted: "Easter Day looks mostly dry, although fairly cloudy. Easter Monday should bring some bright spells and the odd shower. Tuesday promises to be fine with some sunshine."
