RECKON you're a bit of an astronomer?
Well look up to the skies tonight and after dark tomorrow and you might see a spectacular meteor shower produced by Halley's Comet.
Dust from the comet will produce the shower visible across Somerset (clouds permitting) - and unlikely to be repeated for 45 years.
The Orionid meteor shower will be visible between midnight and dawn tonight and tomorrow night.
On a clear night, up to 20 shooting stars an hour travelling at speeds of 41 miles a second could be seen.
Weather forecasters believe there's a better chance of catching the sight tonight.
A Met Office spokesman said: "The Orionids are a remnant of Comet Halley and at its peak you could see up to 20 shooting stars per hour.
"The Orionid meteor shower is named as such because it appears to radiate from the constellation Orion, which is one of the most visible and recognisable in the sky throughout the world."
