AS any Somerset resident knows – it is a truly beautiful county.
Next week, the County Gazette, in association with Wilkie May & Tuckwood, is launching a 160-page limited edition hardback book, called Somerset: A Photographic Journey.
Stunning pictures from the length and breadth of the county are featured, from the Mendips to Minehead and The Levels to Somerset’s picturesque coastline.
County Gazette editor Paul Jones, who has overseen the collation of the book, said: “Putting this book together has been a hugely enjoyable challenge.
"A picture is worth 1,000 words – and there are truly thousands to be told about glorious Somerset.”
The book will be officially launched at a special event at Waterstones in Taunton on Thursday, October 20, and will then be on sale, providing the perfect present for those who love Somerset.
