Police have confirmed that a man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of a Highbridge man in a crash.
Officers have named a man who died following a crash that left a car upside down and submerged in a drainage ditch at Mark as Robert Goodwin, aged 27, of Highbridge.
Issuing a renewed witness appeal relating to the collision, officers say they now believe the collision happened at around 2am on Saturday morning.
A spokesman said: "We’re appealing to anyone driving in the area around this time to come forward if they have any information which could help our inquiry.
