YOU, the local communities of Avon and Somerset, are invited to attend Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens’ annual meeting at the Somerset County Cricket Ground in Taunton on June 25.

The meeting will focus on the strategic achievements of the office of the PCC throughout 2014/15.

You'll be able to hear from Sue at the meeting, which begins at 2pm, along with presentations from other speakers.

Guests will also have the chance to ask questions during an open forum session.

It is encouraged that anyone wishing to do so, submit questions in advance so they can be answered as fully as possible.

Ms Mountstevens said: “The last year has seen continued changes in the nature and profile of offending and victimisation, alongside political and economic reform that is impacting upon all aspects of policing and criminal justice.

“It has also delivered many achievements including newly commissioned victim services providing enhanced support to those most in need, a multi-agency commitment to those experiencing mental health crises and over 3,800 people who have contacted me about their local policing concerns.

“I hope that people will find the annual meeting informative and I look forward to seeing and meeting with you on the day.”

The meeting will be taking place in The Long Room at the cricket ground between 1.45-4pm.

If you would like to attend, register in advance and reserve your seat by emailing pcc@avonandsomerset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 01275-816377 by June 19.
