POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the death of a man who may have fallen from an upstairs window.

He was found dead in an alleyway between two properties in Locking Road, Weston, at about 10pm yesterday, Monday, October 6.

Neighbourhood Inspector Sharon Bennett said: “We are making house-to-house enquiries in the Locking Road and Ashcombe Road areas and crime scene investigators are making a forensic examination of the scene, including using a cherry picker to check neighbouring buildings.

“I would be very keen to hear from anyone who heard any sort of disturbance in the area between 9.30pm and 10pm last night, Monday, October 6, or who had a man call on them in a confused or distressed state.

“At this stage in our enquiries we do not know how the man came by his injuries, however witnesses report seeing someone fall from an upper window.”

Anyone with any information should contact North Somerset CID on 101 quoting reference 1083 of October 6.
