THE motorcyclist who died on the A38 at Thurloxton on Bank Holiday Monday has been named as William Alexander Bone.

William, aged 25, and his family had recently moved to Taunton from Street.

His distraught family have asked for privacy as they are still traumatised by his death.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash at about 2pm on Monday (May 26).

A spokesman said William appeared to lose control of his bike and was thrown off.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
