FIRE crews and police were called to a three-vehicle road accident in Frome this evening (November 6). 

Fire Control received a call from Police reporting the collision and two fire appliances from Frome and an officer attended the scene at Murder Combe, Whatley, after the accident occurred at 5.44pm.

On arrival crews found one person trapped in one of the vehicles and removed the roof using hydraulic cutting equipment.

The casualty was transferred to an ambulance for treatment.
