MAdD on taking their show to Edinburgh - through Horton ball

THE well-known Music Art Dance and Drama Theatre (MAdD) group is going to take its show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.

Retail Therapy is written by Kat Wilsher and Sophy Layzell. It centres on Denny’s – a department store in the future filled with love, deceit and faulty equipment. The audience will follow the trials and tribulations of the long-suffering staff through the sales period.

Natalie Wilsher wrote the music for the show.

MADD is now raising funds to take the show to Edinburgh. It is holding a MAdD Hatters Valentine’s Ball on Saturday, February 11, at Horton village hall from 7pm. Tickets are priced £20 in advance or £25 on the door.

A table of eight will cost £120 and the price includes a complimentary drink on arrival, while Green and Bushell play their delightful sounds.

Canapés will be followed by a sit-down supper and dancing to Anthology and the Sonic Sound disco.

An auction of promises will also be held and the Best MAdD Hat contest will be judged.
