Ilminster swimming pool committee looks for volunteers

THE swimming pool committee at Greenfylde First School in Ilminster is seeking volunteers.

The committee has raised the funds needed to bring the pool back up to scratch and it is hoped swimmers can use it later this year.

A committee spokesman said: “Most work has now been completed and the pool is full of water for the first time in a while!

“We now need to start testing the pool on a regular basis and check everything is working correctly.

“We would welcome any volunteers who would like to help make a difference to the school and help run the pool.

“If you feel you would be willing or able to commit to a couple of hours a month to help us with this testing then please contact us through the school office.”
