Ile Valley Flower Club get ready for annual exhibition

MEMBERS of the Ile Valley Flower Club are busy preparing for their flower arranging exhibition at the Parish Hall, North Street, Ilminster, on Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, from 10am to 5pm.

Programmes cost £1 and there will be refreshments, tombola and raffle.

Club chairman Jenny Chance said: "The title Vision of Ilminster in Flowers inspires us to depict the town and local businesses in arrangements using many different styles, visions, flowers and foliages."

A preview will be held on Friday, July 1, with cheese and wine - tickets for that event cost £5. Phone 01460-52805 for further details.

All proceeds from the exhibition will go to Children's Hospice South West.
