SCORES of cyclists from the Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne area took part in a charity bikeathon at RNAS Merryfield, near Ilton.
Members of the 1st Chard Wheelers cycling club were among the participants raising money for Leukaemia Research at the South Somerset Bikeathon.
The event, held on June 28, saw riders complete a four-mile circuit around the airfield as many times as their legs could bear.
Also taking part were the Springside Tooth Fairies, of the Springside dental practice in Chard, who donned fancy dress for the occasion.
They rode in memory of the late Richard Falkingham, founder of the practice, who lost his battle against leukaemia in July last year.
The total money raised is still being counted.
