WAREHOUSE Theatre’s £125,000 appeal could be set for a final push over the line thanks to another town businesses.
The Ilminster Entertainment Society is raising money for a much-needed expansion into the Old Bakery building next door.
The appeal was launched in May and could be completed thanks to a fundraising floristry demonstration by Cottage Flowers’ Angie Blackwell.
She said: “I am very passionate about Ilminster. It is always about us working together. The community is so strong.”
Scott Waldie, a Warehouse trustee, said: “It looks as if we are going to meet our target this financial year, but we have still got a long way to go with renovations.
“Gifts like this are key in maintaining the momentum of the Old Bakery conversion.”
The event is being held on March 27 from 10am until 1pm.
Tickets are £10. Call 01460 53020.
