A GIRL who went missing last week and has been known to have links with Ilminster has been found after a police search.

Cindy Worthington, 15, was reported missing from the Beoley area of Redditch at around 9pm last Monday (August 14) and officers were reportedly concerned for her welfare.

She was found in Birmingham on Friday, and she was taken to hospital as a precaution but has since been discharged and is with officers.

Police are now appealing to the public for help in identifying a man who may be able to help with their investigation.

Detective Sergeant Tim Macrae said: "We have had an exceptional response from the public and the media to our appeal.

"Our appeals were shared more than 9000 on social media and covered extensively in media around the country. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped us.

"We (have) put out a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with our investigation. We're still keen to identify this man and would urge anyone with information to contact us."
