TRAFFIC: 'Severe' delays for drivers on A303 and A358 near Southfields roundabout
DRIVERS faced 'severe' delays on A358 and A303 near Southfields roundabout earlier due to heavy congestion.
The delays affected drivers approaching Southfields on A358 from Taunton, those heading towards the roundabout travelling eastbound on A303, and there were some delays on the approach fom Horton Cross on A358.
Drivers are still facing long delays travelling in both directions on A358 near Donyatt.
There are reports of severe delays between the village and Hornsbury Mill.
Elsewhere, there are some delays for drivers travelling eastbound on the Ilminster bypass.
There are no reports of crashes in the area.
Traffic near Southfields has returned to normal.
