FOUR people have been rushed to hospital after a diesel boiler released fumes into their home near Ilminster.
Fire engines from Chard and Ilminster were called to a farm house on Donyatt Hill shortly before 1pm today (April 14).
Residents of the property had reported feeling unwell after a deisel boiler had leaked fumes.
Shortly after arriving crews confirmed that three people had been removed from the property, into open air and were being checked over by paramedics, while fire crews entered to investigate.
They later found the source of the leak to be domestic heating oil fumes from a boiler.
Crews isolated the boiler and made the area safe, before leaving duty of care with the owner, awaiting the arrival of a heating engineer.
Following the incident, three adults and a child were taken to hospital to be checked over as a precaution.
