A SHED was almost completely destroyed in a fire in Shepton Beauchamp earlier this evening (Friday).
Two fire engines were sent to Pound Cottages, in Middle Street, at 4.12pm to reports of a garden shed ablaze.
A third engine was sent after crews arrived on the scene.
Firefighters tackled the blaze with a hose reel jet and a main jet, while LPG cylinders were believed to be involved in the incident.
Crews confirmed the cylinders were venting at around 4.50pm and another engine was sent to assist.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the five-metre by three-metre shed was "almost completely destroyed", while a nearby shed was also damaged.
The cause is believed to have been accidental.
