ARSON: A tractor on Cad Road in Ilton had been sent on fire deliberately
THERE has been a suspected arson attack on a tractor near Ilminster.
The fire service was called to Cad Road in Ilton around 1am earlier today.
Two fire engines and a pinzgauer were utilised to deal with the fire.
Crews worked to put out the fire with three hose reel jets.
At 2.07am it was confirmed the fire had been extinguished.
The fire service has confirmed that the cause of the fire was deliberate ignition.
A spokesperson from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "We found the tractor in a field off of Cad Road.
"We arrived to the tractor well alight, it was basically destroyed by the fire.
"We had to use specialist equipment to get to the tractor."
