THREE fire crews were called out yesterday after several calls of smoke pouring out of a house in Ilminster.
One fire engine from the town and two engines from Chard were sent to the scene in High Street just before 3pm yesterday.
Upon arrival, fire crews said a large amount of smoke was issuing from the first floor of a two storey terraced domestic property measuring approximately ten metres by ten metres.
After tackling the blaze, a fire investigation officer was called to the scene to determine the cause of the flames.
Western Power were also called to the house, which was severly damaged by fire and smoke, to isolate the property's electricity supply.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
