Police arrest 47-year-old man following A30 lorry crash near Chard
A man has been arrested following a crash on the A30 near Chard last night.
Police were called to the incident at Windwhistle at around 8.05pm where a car was involved in a collision with a lorry.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
South Western Ambulance Service crews were also called to the scene and took one casualty - who was in the car - to Musgrove Park Hospital with neck and leg injuries.
