THE Life Education Bus will be visiting Greenfylde School and Swanmead School in January thanks to the Rotary Club of Ilminster.
Rotarian David Dick has arranged the opportunity with proceeds from the annual Rotary Golf Day.
He said: “I am delighted that all 13 classes of Greenfylde and the first four classes of Swanmead will be able to visit the bus over four days.
“This has been made possible by the very kind support of the Cricket St. Thomas Golf Club who donated their course for our golf day.
“Local businesses sponsored holes and donated raffle prizes for the event, which was enjoyed by over 50 players who all paid to compete for the Rotary Cup.
“Life Education is a specialist provider of high quality Health and Drug Education for children aged three to 13.
“Their work promotes healthy lifestyles including physical and emotional health and well being.
“This visit is being greeted with great enthusiasm by the heads of both schools, who are well aware of the benefits and the enjoyment the pupils receive from such visits.”
The Life Education Bus will be visiting the schools between January 19 and 22.
