Samsun starts new chapter in writing career

FANTASY fiction auth-or Samsun Lobe is starting out on a new series of books he hopes will be a hit with readers.

Samsun, of Ilminster, last year released the final book in his Dying Star trilogy, entitled Darkness, and was pleased with its success.

“The Dying Star series has had some great feedback and I have now sold several thousand copies, so all is going well,” he said.

Now he has launched his new series called RUIN: Birth of a Legend and he has already received positive comments from fans.

“I will be promoting it around the country and I will be travelling as far afield as Glasgow and Dublin,” he said.

He launched the book at the weekend in Telford, Shropshire, at the Midlands Comic Con where it was well received by fantasy and sci-fi enthusiasts.

Samsun said: “I know some people are still making their way through the Dying Star trilogy but the world of RUIN has been my home for the last six months.

“I am really pleased with the way this book has turned out, and those who have read it so far, love the characters and the storyline.”

After originally training as an artist and designer, Samsun worked in digital media and the computer games industry for 22 years. He has also been running his own e-learning software development firm for nearly ten years.
