ILMINSTER Music Club is mourning the death of founder Pam Wynn, who died aged 88 on Boxing Day at Horton Cross Nursing Home.
Her funeral last Wednesday at Taunton Crematorium was attended by family, friends and 12 club members.
A club spokesman said: “From a small start Pam set up the constitution and format of the club, enrolling speakers and presenters, and welcoming members.
“Tributes have thanked her for her insight and drive, allowing members to enrich their lives by listening to selected music in a friendly and still thriving club.”
The club celebrates its 30th birthday in April.
