Appeal after pedestrian hit by car
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a 4x4 vehicle in Crewkerne last week.
The woman, in her 40s, was struck by a silver Nissan Qashqai in Market Street shortly before 12.30pm on Friday.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance but was not seriously hurt.
Anyone who was in the town centre at the time and saw what happened is urged to contact Crewkerne police on 0845-456-7000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
